Today, my doctor ignored my numerical results. Instead, she followed her gut and made a prognosis that did not align with the “right” prognosis in her textbook. (She prescribed me an inhaler even though she shouldn’t have.) Turns out, her gut decision was the right one. For the first time in 3 weeks, I can breathe.
I love it when doctors know right from “right.”
